The Four Graces...a layout

One of my daughters is named Grace.  We went to a park that had a statue named "The Three Graces".  She ran over in front of it and put up her 4 fingers and pointed to herself with the other hand and said "Hey Momma, take a picture...now it's 'The Four Graces'."  I have been holding onto these photos for almost a year to make a layout and finally got around to it! 

This LO starts with a base of Always Artichoke Cardstock.  I then layered some scraps of theNEW Sneak Peek DSP Paisley Petals and the DSP Greenhouse Gala.  Next is a layer of Baja Breeze and Old Olive Cardstocks.  I then added the photos and put a strip of retired Old Olive printed ribbon.  Nex I added the Title in the New Sneak Peek stamp set Four Frames Stamp in Old Olive and punched with the decorative label punch in Baja Breeze CS.  The journaling is on Baja Breeze CS in Old Olive Ink.  I used some of the flowers from the Paisley Petals and cut them with my paper snips then popped them up using Dimensionals.  The edges of the base are rolled with the Paisley wheel in Versamark ink:)

A LO, Yep for reals!

I actually made a LO today!  Can you believe it? 

I made this LO using the Ice Cream Parlor DSP, Ribbon and Buttons from the SU Sale-a-bration!  I also added some retired wide pink ribbon as well.  It met the RRRRRibbon Challenge at Just a Spark, the SU challenge and the Messy RRRRibbon Challenge at Peices of Paper.  I just LOVE this photo of my dd and her lil pal.  Her lil friend is moving soon and I'm glad I was able to snap this photo of the two of them together for her album:)

5 Little Monkeys

The story of the LO is below:)  I used the Creative Scrappers Sketch #140 for their Challenge this week:)

Here is my take on the sketch:

I got this adorable monkey paper while shopping this summer with Joyce.  It was a blast shopping with her!  I told her when I found this paper to keep an eye out for a 5 little monkeys LO to come...as there were 5 monkeys with 5 different colors!  One for each of my kiddos! 

  Found some silly pics of the kiddos and put them with their "color" of monkey:)  I was so excited when the monkey paper matched perfectly with my SU Cardstock!  I used Early Espresso, Pear Pizzaz, Peach Parfait, Daffodil Delight, Marina Mist and Riding Hood Red.

We've always called them the 5 Little Monkeys and when reading the 5 Little Monkeys Jumpin' on the Bed....they would insert their names on the "....fell off and bonked his/her head":)

Mystery Mark

My friend Liz over at Just a Spark posted a this sketch today for a challenge! 

Here is my take!

I started with a base of Basic Black then added a layer of Whisper White with rounded corners.  I used the Scallop Edge Punch on the Marina Mist and layered it under the edges of the

Barely Banana(retired)  I cut the title in the Marina Mist and the question  mark "embellishments" out of Whisper White.  I used the White gel pen and Basic Black Journaling pen all from Stampin UP!

Forever Friends GYSO#3

I saw this awesome sketch over at GYSO:

and here is my version:

I started with a base of Love Letter DSP (SU) and cut the title and the bracket thingy in RidingHood Red CS (SU) and the sillouhette of the little girls I used Basic Black CS(SU).  The journaling strip is a strip of the Love Letter DSP:) 

The "flower" is made from the Love Letter DSP 4 Scalloped Circles, a jumbo pewter eyelet and a bit of Basic Black Taffeta ribbon (all SU)

Challenge Sketch LO - GYSO 1

I did this LO with photos from my trip to Arizona this past August.  The sketch sure lent itself to my Bisbee photos.   

GetYourSketchOn #1

The "B" on the mountain in the middle circle is the "Bisbee B" that really is on the mountain!  I added a small amount of journaling at the bottom after I took the photo.  I used Sahara Sand,Cajun Craze, and Pacific Point Cardstocks (Stampin' UP!) and the Patterned paper is Blueberry Crisp DSP from Stampin' UP!

I finally finished up the AZ Lo's I posted partially done the other day:)  And for your viewing pleasure LO #1:

This LO all I did was cut the AZ shape from Early Espresso CS with 50 States and the lil buffalo skull (I added some glaze to make it shiny)  to mark the area of Tombstone AZ.  I did the title with Don Juan and welded it all together then I cut it from Crumb Cake CS.  I inked the title with Early Espresso and some Chocolate Chip Ink as well.  The photos are double matted with Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.  The background paper looks like the wooden sidewalks in Tombstone and is from my stash.  I used some retired red hemp twine from SU and tied knots in it to finish off the top and bottom of the page.

And....LO #2

I used some patterned paper from my stash got at a craft store while shopping with ScrappinJoy this summer:)  I cut the title in Vanilla Vinyl as to help with adhering to the LO.  The journaling is at the very bottom .  And so you can see better I took some closeups:)



 In this one you can see how I did the journaling.



In these two it is a closeup of the vinyl title. Title is from an old Hymn that I love "Rock of Ages".

and LO #3

This LO features the Sunsets in Arizona:)

I used More Mustard CS for the base page then I added the photos all cropped down to fit.  I then used Basic Black and Cajun Craze CS and cut the Arizona in regular and shadow from 50States and layered them.  I then used Black Vinyl and cut the sunsets from Calligraphy.  I then layered that over the Arizona to make my Arizona Sunsets title for the page.  I just love how this turned out:)

A LO I Did a LO!

I did this LO Last night I finally got a space cleared in my mess of moving my cave:) I cut the title with SCAL the stickers are Jolee from WM and the paper I picked up at our LSS before it closed. Enjoy:) I had a blast making this one!
