Raising Kindness...

I love this sentiment from the Vintage Vogue set and thought the sketch from Stamping 411 #187 and the color combo challenge of Crumb Cake, Pretty in Pink and Regal Rose were perfect!  And of course I had to use my new favorite DSP, Springtime Vintage.

Regal Rose Card base then layer of Pretty in Pink topped with Crumb Cake Ribbon and a layer of Summertime Vintage over Crumb Cake punched with the Scalloped Trim Edge Punch.  I added Vintage Brads and a Red Rose Vintage Flower Adornment.  Sentiment is from Vintage Vogue.  Sentiment stamped using Crumb Cake Ink on Regal Rose Cardstock with distressed edges.

Sharing in Your Sorrow...-PPA 77 Challenge

My husband's family has lost a family friend.  I made this card to send to the Mom as her husband passed away this week.  I started the PPA77 challenge with these colors then realized it would be great for our friend's family....

Here is my take:

I used a card base of Very Vanilla CS, The DSP is all from the Springtime Vintage collection.  I added Always Artichoke and Baja Breeze to the mix inking is all done in Always Artichoke.  I used the Vintage Wallpaper Embossing Folder for texture.  I also added a  Vintage Brad for the Scalloped Circle flower.  The sentiments and flowering branch images are from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set.
All items Stampin' UP!

Birdie Challenge Card

Hello Blogland:)  I had a break in my fever HOORAY!  and felt ok as long as I sit still sooooo, yep you guessed it, I made a card!  My friend Kate from Small Bits of Paper told me about this awesome challenge over at Jitterbuggin'  so here is my take on the challenge to fit their sketch, use a bird cut and use pink:)  And the Stampin' Royalty's Challenge SR55 --anything with wings:)  I'm entering this one over there too:)

I started with a base of Crumb Cake Cardstock and embossed it with a flowery embossing folder from my stash and inked the raised areas with Pretty in Pink Ink...I added circles cut from Spring Vintage DSP then I cut the bird layers using Pirouette Pink and Pretty in Pink Cardstocks and embossed the Pirouette Pink pieces in a swirly embossing and then dots on the Pretty in Pink Piece.  I stamped the sentiment from the Because I Care set in Soft Suede Ink on Pretty in Pink CS then punched it using the Modern Label Punch.  I added Pearls to the ends of that as well as to the center of the crochet flower. All papers are Stampin' UP!

Thought ya'll may like to see closeups of the embellies:)

I made this card tonight using the Stamping 411 Super Saturday Sketch:)
I started with a base of Whisper White then added a layer of Always Artichoke with the bottom edge punched with the Scallop Trim Edge Punch.  Then topped that with another Whisper White layer punched the same way and stamped the tree and sentiment (Thoughts and Prayers).  I wrapped these with Chocolate Chip Ribbon.  Inks were Always Artichoke and Chocolate Chip.  All items Stampin' UP!

I used Very Vanilla for my card base and the Simply Scrappin' "Jingle" Kit for all the patterned papers and the self adhesive die cuts with the Dasher image as well as the striped element.  Stamps used were from the Berry Christmas set.  Real Red Cardstock and Ink for accents and I dotted the scallops on both the circle and the little strip at the bottom with the Signo White pen all from Stampin' UP!
